Although its been a quiet 2015 rut what with the weather being against us at every turn there is always a high point and this guy has been it so far.

I seem to find the most obliging creatures that seem to find me interesting enough to not leg it immediately as is the case with this beautiful stag.

The picture was taken here on Exmoor as the days light faded to dusk which gives the picture a dusky lavender hue.
